4.10events, LLC was started by Latasha C. Gatling. It began as an event planning business (hence the name 4.10events). When I had my son Zion Roshon, I caught the bug of planning his birthday parties. I would meticulously plan and execute each of his parties, not leaving one detail out. Others started to ask me to plan their kid(s) parties. So, I started a business planing children's birthday parties and baby showers for any and everyone that would ask. As I developed my craft as a children's only event planner, I began to add custom elements to each party. Next thing I know, I am customizing shirts, tumblers, party favors and everything under the sun. Thus, 4.10boutique was born. God has a way of redirecting us on our journey. I became overwhelmed with custom items that I was no longer able to plan parties. After making custom shirts and various items a good friend suggested that I make items for my beloved Sorority. I guess you know where God lead me...yup, I became an authorized vendor (2017) and began making paraphernalia for Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc.
I joined the Exquisite Eta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha in the Fall of 2000 and was never a big paraphernalia person. I felt like everything had AKA everywhere. So, I was determined that if I were going to make AKA paraphernalia it would be chic, classy and subtle. I believe in making apparel that is classic and timeless. Items that you can wear to the office or to the gym without looking like you just stepped out of a greek time machine (Hey, I am honest). So, here we are! In 2019 I added Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. I plan to expand to include different organizations, so be on the lookout for more to come. God is not finished with me yet! I hope you enjoyed my story and enjoy your experience with 4.10boutique. I look forward to meeting each and every one of our clients as we travel to various events throughout the nation. No worries if you are abroad, if you invite us we will be there. Passport ready, just email and let us know!

P.S. The name! Where did the name come from? That is the million dollar question that I get asked a lot. Well, Zion Roshon the "Real CEO" as I like to call him was born on April 10th. This is his company, I just run it.
